I am excited to tell you about a global film competition the Tony Blair Faith Foundation have launched in Pakistan for young people under the age of 18. This is designed to allow young people to express their beliefs in their own words and promote religious and cultural understanding around the world.   The ask: To enter a pupil must send a short written film idea on the subject 'Let me show you how my faith inspires me' to the Tony Blair Faith Foundation at www.tonyblairfaithf oundation. org/pitchunder18 s by the 23rd April. This can be a religious faith or another belief that inspires them. The best 25 of these will win a portable video camera to make their filmwhich will be sent to the school, they will then have 3 weeks to produce and upload their film. The prize: The best 25 pitches will win a portable video camera to use in making their film . The final winner and their guardian will be flown to London, UK to see their films premiered at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in front of representatives from the film, television and faith world.   The judges: Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan, Hollywood stars Jet Li and Natalie Portman, Bollywood star Anil Kapoor and Bollywood producer Kishore Lulla, Oscar nominated producer Nik Powell, former Prime Minister Tony Blair and Amr Khaled who was named by the New York times as one most famous and influential Muslim television preachers. This competition is designed to be accessible for young people around the world and all they need to enter is a good idea. This is perfect for a class project and resources are attached in Urdu and English to make things as easy as possible. We've also attached a poster with more information.
